TERMS OF SERVICE

By booking through our website, phone, text messages, or emails, you agree to the following Terms of Service. The Cleaners Of Atlanta is a domestic referral agency specializing in house cleaning referrals. We connect clients with vetted, reliable, and professional house cleaners. Our referred cleaners take pride in their work, have professional cleaning skills, and bring years of experience to every job. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out, and we will be happy to assist you.

Independent Service Providers

Service providers referred by The Cleaners Of Atlanta are independent contractors and are not under our direct control or supervision. They operate in their own capacity as independent housekeeping professionals.

Payments

All payments for services are due at the start of the job. Clients agree to provide an acceptable method of payment before the job begins. For first-time customers, a credit card hold may be required. We will place a hold on the provided card the day before service. If the hold fails, The Cleaners Of Atlanta will make a reasonable effort to contact the client. If unsuccessful, we reserve the right to cancel the service by 5 PM the day before the scheduled cleaning.

Estimates

Final job duration estimates are confirmed by the service provider upon arrival. If cleaning requests are inaccurately described or misleading, a price adjustment may be required. Any changes will be discussed with the client prior to job completion, and the client has the right to either agree to the new price or continue with the original quote, knowing that full service may not be completed.

Walk-Through After Service Completion

First-time customers are required to conduct a walk-through before and after cleaning to ensure clear communication and satisfactory results. If the walk-through is skipped, neither The Cleaners Of Atlanta nor the service provider is responsible for any re-clean or touch-up requests. The final walk-through releases The Cleaners Of Atlanta and the service provider from any further requests. Additional requests will incur additional charges.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us by 5 PM the day before the scheduled service. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the cleaning cost, which will be charged to your credit card.

Lock-Out or No-Show

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure access to the property for cleaning. If the service provider cannot enter due to the client’s unavailability or insufficient access arrangements, a lock-out fee equal to 50% of the booking cost will be charged.

Direct Hiring Prohibited

Clients agree not to directly hire any referred service provider during the term of this agreement and for nine (9) months after termination of services without notifying The Cleaners Of Atlanta. If services are engaged directly, the client agrees to pay The Cleaners Of Atlanta a $1,500 finder’s fee.

Customer Responsibility

Clients must provide a safe working environment free of bio-hazards or toxic materials for the referred service provider. The client must provide access to all areas of the property, and utilities such as cold/hot water, electricity, and any other necessary services must be available. If clients wish for the provider to clean under or behind heavy items, those items should be moved prior to the service provider's arrival. Clients are responsible for securing all pets inside the household.

Performance of Services

The domestic worker is qualified, experienced, and responsible for completing all services to the client’s satisfaction, without oversight from The Cleaners Of Atlanta. If there is any issue, including complaints about quality, breakage, theft, or any other problem, it is the service provider’s responsibility to resolve the matter directly with the client. The Cleaners Of Atlanta will notify the service provider of any complaints received, but we are not liable for any damages or unsatisfactory performance. The client agrees to indemnify The Cleaners Of Atlanta against any claims, losses, liabilities, or damages resulting from the actions or performance of the service provider.

Independent Domestic Worker

The Cleaners Of Atlanta is not the employer of the referred domestic worker. Clients acknowledge that they may have employer responsibilities and may be liable for state and federal employment taxes during the course of the engagement. The Cleaners Of Atlanta is not responsible for these obligations, and clients agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, or damages arising from tax liabilities.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of a housekeeper referred by The Cleaners Of Atlanta, clients accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement, even if the signed agreement is not returned to us.

Termination

Clients have the right to replace or terminate a housekeeper for any reason.

SMS Text Messages

By opting into our SMS service, you agree to receive appointment reminder and confirmation texts for your cleaning services from The Cleaners Of Atlanta. Opt in to receive updates, alerts, and important information regarding your scheduled cleanings.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive appointment reminder and confirmation texts as scheduled. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

Consent for Use of Electronic Signatures

This agreement may be executed using original, facsimile, or electronic signatures. Each signature will be considered an original and enforceable.
